This is a silly one for a little mood boost. Just put a pencil between your teeth, across your mouth, between your teeth. By engaging the muscles in your face that are used for smiling actually can shift our lens or view on things.
Amazingly, somebody has actually researched this, and it works.
Give it a try. Try making a cup of tea, or reading a story, or reading a news article, or a nursery rhyme, or something out loud.
