Short audio support for the hard moments with little people
Parenting young children is loud, relentless, boring, tender, overstimulating, lonely, funny, and completely exhausting - sometimes all before breakfast. It is also beautiful!
A Little Space for Parents offers short audio tools, one to three minutes long, to help parents steady themselves in ordinary difficult moments.
Not parenting advice - Not another thing to get right - Just a little support, when you could use some.

First, please make yourself a cup of tea. Can you do that now?
Just listen. Nothing more.
Why this exists?
Who created A Little Space for Parents? Jon Cheetham and Amy Kohut.
Jon is a full-time parent of two young boys, and a former Cornell neuroscientist and surgeon. Amy is an executive coach with more than 25 years of experience working with leaders under pressure.
Together, we have taken tools usually used in coaching and high-pressure professional settings, and adapted them for the very real pressure of parenting small children.
Parents do not need more information. They need one minute of support.
Each tool gives you a small physical action, a few steady words, and a way to come back to yourself.
Made for Devon parents
You probably found this through a flyer somewhere in Devon — a nursery noticeboard, a café, a children's centre, a baby group, or another local parent who thought: "This might help someone today."
That is exactly how we hope it spreads.
Quietly - Usefully - Parent to parent.
If this helped you it might help someone else.
You do not need to explain it perfectly.
You can just say:
"This is a short audio thing for parents. It's not advice. It just helps when parenting feels like a lot.”

What this is not
This is not a parenting method.
It will not tell you how to sleep-train, entertain, set boundaries or encourage your child.
It is not here to make you a better parent by giving you more to do.
It is here to support the person doing the parenting.
A small promise
We are not promising transformation.
We are not promising calm children.
We are not promising that you will never lose your patience again.
We are offering something smaller and, we think, more honest:
one to three minutes to help you come back to yourself.
